“The embodiment of the idea and values of the rule of law in the current law of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the light of the implementation of the Message of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated March 16, 2022 “New Kazakhstan: the path of renewal and modernization”

On April 8, 2022, from 10.00 to 13.30, a round table was held at the Suleiman Demirel University (Kaskelen) on the topic “The embodiment of the idea and values of the rule of law in the current law of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the light of the implementation of the Message of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated March 16, 2022 “New Kazakhstan: the path of renewal and modernization”, organized by the Institute of the Rule of Law, Suleiman Demirel University, the Research Institute of Law of the University “Turan”, the Institute of Public Law of the Caspian University.

The main purpose of the round table is the presentation by the participants of the expert group based on the analysis of the provisions of the Concept of Legal Policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan until 2030 and the Message of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated March 16, 2022, proposals for improving the legal system of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The speakers of the round table were:

• Tuleuov Azamat Sagyndykuly – Head of the expert group of the Institute of the Rule of Law, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Institute of the Rule of Law, senior lecturer of the University named after him. Suleiman Demirel, PhD in Law;
• Zhanuzakova Leyla Telmanovna – expert of the Institute of the Rule of Law, Deputy Director of the Research Institute of Law of Turan University, Kazakhstan, Chief Researcher of the Institute of Legislation and Legal Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Doctor of Law, Professor;
• Karaev Alipasha Agakhanovich – expert of the Institute of the Rule of Law, Professor of the Caspian University, Chief Researcher of the Institute of Legislation and Legal Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Candidate of Law, Associate Professor;
• Zhumagali Almas Kabdymazhituly – expert of the Institute of the Rule of Law, senior lecturer at Suleiman Demirel University, Candidate of Law, PhD;
• Iskaliev Nurlan Umirshievich – expert of the Institute of the Rule of Law, lawyer, entrepreneur; Kassenov Yerbol Kairatuly – expert of the Institute of the Rule of Law, Master of Law;
• Akif Firudinovich Suleymanov is an expert at the Institute of the Rule of Law, Professor at Narkhoz University, Doctor of Law.

The round table was attended by Kasimov Sabyr Akhmetzhanovich – member of the State Commission for the full rehabilitation of victims of political repression of the Republic of Kazakhstan, head of the Project Office (former member of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan, ex-senator); Kuttykadam Seidakhmet Ryskozhauly – journalist, as well as representatives of the Constitutional Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Supreme Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan, students, undergraduates and teachers of Suleiman Demirel University, Caspian University, Turan University.
