On April 18, 2022, the opening ceremony of the XIV Republican Subject Olympiad in the “Cinematography” specialty took place. Students of creative universities of Kazakhstan traditionally take part in this Olympiad. The Olympiad ceremony began with the official opening of the cinema-photo pavilion, in honor of such an event, the rector of the University “Turan” Rahman A. Alshanov Alshanovich, according to the cinematic tradition, broke a plate.

The Olympiad program includes the implementation of the thematic task “Video work”, in the format of performing creative, practical and professional directions in 48 hours. The jury consisted of teachers of creative universities and representatives of various productions.
