Turan students abroad

In the spring semester of the 2023-2024 academic year, 12 students of Turan University are undergoing academic mobility programs at partner universities abroad:

1. Students of the STEM School in the International Relations educational program Turash Zhazira, Turash Nazira, Serikova Daniya, Askambayeva Assem, and of the Translation Profeciency educational program Orynkhanova Ayazhan are studying at the Pomeranian University (Slupsk, Poland).
2. Second-year students of the Translation Profeciency program Orynbayev Akezhan, Kadyrbay Aruzhan, and Kotov Alexey are at NamSeoul University (South Korea).
3. Third-year student of the Management program Satybaldiyeva Amina is at the Rzeszow University of Technology.
4. Second-year student of the Journalism program Naimanbayeva Damira is at Lawrence Technological University (Detroit, USA).
5. Student of the International Law program Novokovskaya Amina is at the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration under the President of the Russian Federation (RANEPA) (Moscow, Russia).
6. Student of the International Relations program Magzomova Akerke is at Ondokuz Mayis University (Turkey).

In the spring semester of the 2022-2023 academic year, students of the University of Turan studied at leading universities in Poland as part of academic mobility. Students of the educational program «Translation profeciency» Abdrashidova Karina, Akebayeva Amina, Chatueva Renata, ЕP «International Relations» Madikhankyzy Aigerim studied at the Pomeranian University, 3rd year student of the ЕP «Information Systems» Pan Anton visited the Rzeszów University of Technology.

In early October, the Rzeszow Polytechnic University welcomed new students participating in the Erasmus and “freemover” programs. This semester is exceptional as, for the first time in the university’s 25-year history, such a large number of exchange students have been hosted. This remarkable moment also includes our students from Kazakhstan, representing Turan University.

Our students put forth tremendous effort in preparing their exhibition stands. Collaborating in groups, they curated exquisite dishes representing various regions of their homeland. Guests had the opportunity to savor the taste of kymyz, try Kazakh cheese balls called kurt, enjoy baursaks, and indulge in our unique Kazakhstani chocolate. These dishes were not only visually appealing but disappeared from the banquet tables in the blink of an eye.

This academic semester has proven to be particularly significant, uniting cultures and the spirits of students from different corners of the world. We take pride in the participation of our students from Kazakhstan, who have brought invaluable richness to this exchange of knowledge and cultures.

In the fall semester of the 2023-2024 academic year, 16 students from Turan University are undergoing academic mobility programs in partner universities abroad:

• Alisher Seidumanov, a STEM program student in “Restaurant business and hospitality” and Nazym Almassova, a student in the “International Relations” program, are studying at SolBridge International School of Business, Woosong University (South Korea).
• Altynai Dauletkhan, a 2nd-year Marketing program student, and Bagdat Nurzhaubekov, an “Information Systems” program student, are at Rzeszow University of Technology (Poland).
• Aruzhan Jumasheva, a student in “Restaurant business and hospitality,” and Daulet Mustafin, a “Translation proficiency” program student, are at Pomeranian Academy (Slupsk, Poland).
• Sofya Assylkhanova, a “Tourism” program student, and Aqerke Magzomova, an “International Relations” program student, are at Ondokuz Mayis University (Turkey).
• Damira Naymanbayeva, a 2nd-year “Journalism” program student, and Malik Zharykov, an “Information Systems” program student, are studying at Lawrence Technological University (Detroit, USA).
• Aida Zhengis and Marina Rusakova, students in the “International Relations” program, are at the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration under the President of the Russian Federation (RANEPA), (Moscow, Russia).
• Valeryia Baranava, a “Finance” program student, is at Zhejiang University (Hangzhou, China).

Among the mentioned students, six are studying under the grant financing of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Turan University collaborates with leading international universities, providing students with annual opportunities for academic mobility. We wish our students successful studies and unforgettable experiences.

TURAN UNIVERSITY STUDENT UNDERGOES ACADEMIC MOBILITY UNDER THE ERASMUS+ PROGRAM AT THE ECONOMIC UNIVERSITY OF VARNA, BULGARIA

The 4th year student of the specialty “Finance” of the University of Turan Davutova Rumilyam passed the competition to study in the fall semester of the academic year 2021-2022 at the University of Economics – Varna, Bulgaria (University of Economics – Varna), which is a partner of the University of Turan in the Erasmus+ academic mobility program. The travel, scholarship and tuition are fully funded by the Erasmus+ grant. University of Economics – Varna is the oldest university of economic sciences in Varna and the second in Bulgaria after Sofia University. The University has the faculties of Finance and Accounting, Economics, Informatics, Management, the Inter-faculty Department of Language and the College of Tourism with more than 11,000 students.

The Erasmus+ program provides students with a list of courses that they can choose and attend. Also the University of Economics has its own hostel located not far from the University. Our student Rumilam Davutova lives in a special block of the University of Economics – Varna hostel for students of Erasmus+ program.

During the academic mobility the student of the University of Turan is also going to conduct a small research and conduct a survey among foreign students.
