International Exhibition MILSET EXPO-Sciences Vostok 2022

In the period from September 26 to October 2, 2022, the International Exhibition of Scientific and Technical creativity of Youth MILSET EXPO-Sciences Vostok 2022 was held at Turan University (Kazakhstan, Almaty).

The exhibition is organized within the framework of the program of the International Movement of Scientific and Technical Creativity of Youth MILSET (Mouvement International pour le Loisir Scientifique et Technique), which unites scientific associations, organizations, centers, clubs, museums in more than 90 countries of the world. The format of the exhibition is offline and online.

«TURAN» Innovation and Entrepreneurship University has been designated as the venue for the MILSET EXPO-Sciences Vostok exhibition in accordance with the decision of the MILSET East Executive Committee and the recommendations of the MILSET General Assembly (Abu Dhabi, September 24, 2019).

Young researchers aged 12 to 25 from Kazakhstan, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, Portugal, Mexico, El Salvador and other countries presented projects in the field of natural sciences, technology, engineering, artistic and social creativity, mathematics. Among the participants of the exhibition are 26 schoolchildren from 9 schools in Almaty, who presented innovative scientific, technical and social projects, including those who won republican–level competitions.

The six-day cultural, educational and business program of the exhibition gave the participants and guests of the event the opportunity to get acquainted with innovative projects, exchange experience, discuss modern achievements in the field of science and culture.

Within the framework of the exhibition, the MILSET General Assembly, the Leader Congress for scientific supervisors, a master class on scientific communication for participants, as well as the Young Citizens Conference – a discussion conference on global problems of space exploration took place.

The exhibition was held with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Akimat and the Department of Education of Almaty, the Center for the Identification and Support of Gifted Children and Talented Youth “Almaty Daryny”.
