Opening Project Management Week

On October 31, 2022, the Project Management Week started at Turan University. The organizers of this week are the University “Turan”, the Union of Project Managers of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan “Atameken”.

As part of the first day, master classes and trainings were held for representatives of small and medium-sized businesses in Almaty.

Welcoming remarks were made by:

• Razakova Dina Ibragimovna – Vice-Rector for Strategic Development, Science and Innovation of the University “Turan”, Candidate of Economic Sciences, PhD;
• Eralieva Akerkin Egembergenovna – Deputy Director of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Almaty;
• Paltasheva Munavara Tursunovna – Executive Director of the Association “Forum of Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan”.

Women-entrepreneurs of Almaty took an active part in trainings and master classes.

The master class of Akzambekkyzy Akbota, trainer of the Union of Project Managers of the Republic of Kazakhstan, PMI PMP, CIMA, introduced the audience to the current state of project management in the Republic of Kazakhstan and the world and the practical possibilities of using project management in the implementation of business projects.

Mukhamedkarimova Aneliya Malikovna, instructor of educational programs Apple Education – Apple Teacher, marketing expert in the EBRD program “Women in Business”, as part of a master class, demonstrated to the participants the possibilities of using Apple products in education.

Tusupova S.A., doctor of technical sciences, professor, at the training taught the practical basics of using MS Project Professional to create and manage business projects.

All participants of the master classes will receive presentation materials and a certificate of participation.
