«Formation of the national intelligentsia in the early 20th century»

On November 30, 2022, at Turan University, the Department of Regional Studies and International Relations held a republican round table on the topic: «The formation of the national intelligentsia in the early 20th century». The purpose of the round table is to create a platform for a comprehensive study of the historical mission of the national intelligentsia in the early 20th century.

Reports were considered in the following areas:

• formation of the Kazakh intelligentsia in the early 20th century;
• national intelligentsia on the eve of the October revolution and during the establishment of Soviet power;
• «Alash» and the cultural renaissance of the Kazakh people;
• genesis of statehood in Kazakhstan: the historical role of the Alash Horde
• history of education, activity and defeat of the Kokand autonomy.

The round table was attended by students of the University «Turan», University «Narxoz», KazNMU named after S. Asfendiyarov, KazNAIU, UIB named after K. Sagadiev.

After the end of the round table, students and scientific supervisors were awarded certificates.
