Professor of the Department “Psychology” becomes the head of the certification committee of the Association EMDR of Kazakhstan!

Anargul Aliakparovna Kasymzhanova, Candidate of Psychological Sciences, Professor of the Department of Psychology, became a member of the founders of the NGOs of the EMDR Association of Kazakhstan http://emdr.kz/ and became the head of the certification committee of the EMDR Association of Kazakhstan, is a psychologist, clinical psychologist, EMDR therapist.

EMDR (Eye Movement Densitization and Processing) is a therapeutic approach based on the Adaptive Information Processing (AIP) model. From the point of view of this integrative psychotherapeutic approach, dysfunctional memories are considered the primary basis of clinical pathology. Reworking these memories and integrating them into larger adaptive networks of memories allows them to transform and restore the functioning of the system.
