«And there is inspiration in every line…»

This was the name of the literary and poetic event, which took place at Turan University on November 21, 2022. Students of the Turan university united together with students of the Volgograd Institute of Management and held a creative meeting. The honorary guests of the event were poets and translators Anastasia Strokina and Maxim Zamshev.

 

As professor Gulzhan Musabekova said: <In Kazakhstan, poetic creativity was addressed both in the best and in difficult times. It is essential to gather and read poetry from time to time>.

 

The literary evening took place in the form of the competition and demonstrations of the oratorical master. The winners were Merkhat Nazimov (Kazakhstan) and Daniil Gripasov (Russia). In the second place – Aidana Kusainova (Kazakhstan) and Varvara Gorbul (Russia). The third place was divided between Dilnaz Didarbekova (Kazakhstan) and Polina Dzevenis (Russia).

 

The audience award went to the four participants. They are Polina Mikhailova, Nadezhda Reznik, Ulkelsin Mayrambekova and Zhannur Dauletova.

 

Amina Serikkalieva, Kamilla Abdykhalieva, Aiganym Sambet, Dildora Mamyrzhanova, Angelika Kochergina, Jasmine Nurakhmetova, Elizaveta Pivovarova, Nazerke Zhakan, Angelina Kvashnina, Alekandra Movchanyuk, Tatiana Gorbenko, Alexandra Volkova and Aizhan Kalel were awarded by letters of thanks.

 

The organizers of the competition were teachers of the Department of Journalism and Translation studies of Turan University, Professor Gulzhan Musabekova, Deputy head of the Department Elena Patashkova, senior lecturers Lyudmila Bondarenko and Tatiana Zatonskaya. The organizers from the Russian side were the heads and teachers of the Department of Linguistics and Intercultural Communication of the Volgograd Institute of Management.
