Opening of the Joint Research Laboratory (JRL) «R&D-Laboratory of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics»

On January 20, 2023, a briefing was held at Turan University dedicated to the opening of the joint research laboratory «R&D Laboratory of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics» of Turan University and the Institute of Mechanics and Machine Science. academician U. A. Dzholdasbekov.

The opening ceremony of the JRL was attended by the Rector of the University R.A. Alshanov, D.J. Ahmed-Zaki – Chairman of the Science Committee of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan; A.K. Tuleshov – Director General of the Institute of Mechanics and Machine Science. academician U.A. Dzholdasbekova, B.N. Sadykov – Chief physician of the State Enterprise «City Clinical Hospital No. 5» of the Almaty Health Department; other invited guests, students and media representatives.

At the presentation of the JRL, Himmash developments were presented: a complex of service medical robots, a complex of 5 training stimulator robots with original manipulators, a complex of electronic multimedia textbooks in the field of machine mechanics and robotics.

The briefing program was full of speakers’ speeches by representatives of business, production, education and science: V.B. Turekhanov, President of the Kazakhstan Association of Automation and Robotics, member of the New Technologies Committee of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs «Atameken» of the Republic of Kazakhstan, creator and co-owner of the conference «Vse.kz»; B.N. During the briefing, a trilateral memorandum of mutual cooperation was signed with the RSE at the Institute of Mechanics and Machine Science named after Academician U.A. Dzholdasbekov” KN of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the University “Turan” and the State Enterprise “City Clinical Hospital No. 5″ of the Health Department of Almaty. A quadrilateral memorandum of mutual cooperation was signed with the RSE at the Institute of Mechanics and Machine Science named after Academician U.A. Dzholdasbekov” KN MNVO RK, University “Turan”, Kostanay University of Engineering and Economics and Corporate University “Allur” (LLP “SaryarkaAvtoProm”). A quadrilateral memorandum of mutual cooperation was also signed with the RSE at the Institute of Mechanics and Machine Science named after Academician U.A. Dzholdasbekov” KN MNVO RK, the University “Turan”, the Republican Interuniversity electronic Library and the Association of Universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

At the briefing, the representative of the Ministry, D.Zh.
