Congratulations to the participants of the “Finathlon” Financial Literacy Case championship!

On March 17, 2023, as part of the Project to improve financial literacy of the population, the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market together with the Department of Finance of Turan University held a Case championship “Finathlon” for college students in Almaty.

9 teams from colleges took part in the Championship.

The participants passed 2 rounds: testing and solving a situational case.

By the decision of the jury, which included representatives of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Regulation and Development of the Financial market, the National Bank of Kazakhstan, JSC “Eurasian Bank, JSC “Altyn Bank” (a subsidiary of China Citic Bank Corp Ltd) , JSC “Bank RBK, investment company “First Heartland Jusan Invest”, diplomas for prizes awarded:

• Diploma of the I degree – students of the Economic College of the University of Narkhoz – Potalitsyna M., Bashirova A., Smailova A.
• Diplomas of the II degree – to students of the Almaty State Business College Kenesbai A., Tursynova G., Ermuratova A. and the College of International Service and Management Turdiev A., Akhmetova Sh., Dyusembek A.
• Diplomas of the III degree – to students of the Almaty State Business College Meldesh N., Council U, Serykbay E., College of the University “Turan” Seishonlo L., Ustyugov B., Lukash S., College of International Service and Management Toleugazy A., Syzdykova A., Zhumabay D.

Participants of the Case Championship were awarded valuable partner prizes, certificates, and letters of thanks to scientific supervisors.
