4th International Scientific and Practical Conference “Logistics of the Great Steppe”

On April 20, 2023, the Department of Marketing and Logistics of Turan University held the 4th International Scientific and Practical Conference “Logistics of the Great Steppe” on the topic: “Logistics: development trends and modern trends”. The conference was held in a hybrid format (offline and online).

The conference was attended by:

• Anthony Alphonse, Vice President of the European Logistics Association, Brussels, Belgium;
• Arystanbekov Kairbek Tulendievich, President of the Institute of Economic Policy, Member of the National Council of Public Trust under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Astana, Kazakhstan;
• Alimzhan Baraev, Director of Conceptum LLP, Director of Development at Aida KaumeNOVA LLP, Member of the Art Depot working group (former tram depot). Almaty, Kazakhstan;
• Abdygaparova Zhuldyz, Head of Multimodal Transportation Department WOOJIN GLOBAL LOGISTICS, Astana, Kazakhstan;
• teaching staff of the department “Marketing and Logistics”.

The speakers in their reports raised the topics of international transport logistics, the development of urban logistics, modern warehousing, the use of digital technologies in logistics.

Following the results of the conference, a collection (with the international ISBN index) of materials will be released in electronic form, with subsequent placement on the website of the Turan University www.turan-edu.kz .
