Round table on the topic “Gender equality. The world and Kazakhstan”

On November 8, 2023, a round table was organized within the framework of task No. 5 “Gender equality” of the United Nations SDGs by the deputy head of the department of “Jurisprudence and International Law” PhD Dzhumabaeva K.A. and the organization “Sanaly Urpak” for the purpose of professional and personal development, formation and exchange of opinions for 2nd year students of the Faculty of Humanities and Law on the topic “Gender equality. The world and Kazakhstan”.

 

The round table was attended by 2nd year students of the specialties “Jurisprudence”, “International Law”, “Corporate Law”, “Translation Studies”, “Journalism”, “Psychology”, “Public Relations”, as well as representatives of the organization “Student Committee ” During the round table, current issues on the topic of gender equality were discussed: the modern indicator of equality between men and women, its impact on politics and society. Achievements and prospects in the field of gender policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan were also outlined. As part of the round table topic, students were able to expand on the topic in detail, ask questions and actively participate in the discussion.
