The third place at the Olympiad in technology and tactics of active types of tourism for the Turan Tigers team

On December 8, students of the 2nd year of the educational program «Tourism» (Akylbekov Anvar, Belousov Alexander, Skopina Daria, Sanarov Egor, Kalandarova Shahodat, teacher – Ergeshov A.A.) participated in the VI International Olympiad on technology and tactics of active types of tourism. As a result of the last event, the Turan Tigers team took the third place.

The competitions were held at the site of the Eurasia sports complex in Astana. The organizer was L.N. Gumilev Eurasian National University. Seven teams from different cities took part in two distances: «Team» and «Bunch». Unlike last year’s competition, this year the organization decided to remove the climbing aspect, focusing on the tourist all-around.

The distances were distinguished by their complexity and required good wit, physical and technical training from the participants.
