Aitolkyn Ashimova, senior- lecturer of “Journalism and Translation Studies” department of Turan University has received a special Presidential Literary Award for young Kazakhstani writers and poets

Aitolkyn Ashimova, senior- lecturer of “Journalism and Translation Studies” department  of Turan University has received a special Presidential Literary Award for young Kazakhstani writers and poets. Her drama work “Tau kotergen Tolagai” was awarded in the “Drama” category. The Award was established in 2023, and 53 contestants who had not previously participated in international and national competitions presented their works. 7 of them in the category “Children’s Literature”, 9 – “Dramaturgy”, 13 – “Poetry”, 14 – “Prose”. The award ceremony took place on January 25, 2024 in Almaty. Minister of Culture and Information, Aida Balaeva, congratulated the contestants on their high achievements and presented the prize to the winners.
