Winter school for teachers of «Turan» University (Almaty) and the Institute of Public Administration and Civil Service (Moscow)

From January 29 to February 3, 2024, «Turan» University, together with the Institute of Public Administration and Civil Service (IPACS) of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA), held the Winter School «Innovative educational technologies in higher education as target indicators of the future» in Almaty. Forty-five attendees and speakers in the Winter School shared their teaching methods and tools and exchanged experiences in using new technologies to organise the educational process. The participants conducted training and master classes and made their reports.

 

Particular emphasis was placed on the practical component of the presentations. There was an opportunity to demonstrate teaching methods individually and in teams and participate in a demonstration practical lesson with students of «Turan» University. A bright part of the program was the performance of the ethno-project «Orda» (theatre of ethnic and historical costume).

 

On February 2, 2024, the closing ceremony of the Winter School «Innovative Educational Technologies in Higher Education as Target Indicators of the Future» took place, organized by the departments of «Tourism and Service» and «Regional Studies and International Relations» with the active participation of the departments of the Faculty of Humanities and Law («Psychology», «Jurisprudence and International Law», «Journalism and Translation Studies») of «Turan» University and IPACS RANEPA. Leila Amangeldievna Tusupova, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, presented certificates to the event participants.
