Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan grant for academic mobility abroad for the 2024–2025 academic year

Dear undergraduate students!

In accordance with the order of the Minister of Science and Higher Education No. 62 dated February 15, 2024, a competition is announced for grant funding for academic mobility abroad for the 2024–2025 academic year.

There are 6 grants available, including 4 for Europe and 2 for the USA.

The grant covers the cost of flights, visa fees, medical insurance, and accommodation.

The requirements for applicants are as follows:

• 2nd and 3rd year undergraduate students studying on a state educational grant, without disciplinary sanctions or academic debts.
• GPA – not lower than 3.0.
• Proficiency in English at a level of IELTS 5.5 or TOEFL 46.

List of required documents for participation in the competition:

1. application form (Appendix 1);
2. citizen’s questionnaire of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Appendix 2);
3. copy of passport;
4. transcript;
5. certificate proving foreign language proficiency;
6. health certificate (075/u);
7. recommendation letters from the head of the educational program;
8. awards, certificates, publications, etc.;

Documents must be submitted by March 20, 2024, to the International Cooperation Department (Room 707).
