Open class on the topic “Cyber Security” for the students of the 1st year

In the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals (4 – Quality Education for All) on March 15, 2024, Vakhitova R.M., Master, Senior Lecturer of the Department of “Information Technologies”, conducted an open class on the topic “Cyber Security” for the students of the 1st year of GSF in the discipline “Information and Communication Technologies”.

Vakhitova R.M. explained what is the main purpose of cyberattacks. She gave the classification of threats, types of Internet fraud, and also considered mobile operating systems and encryption functions with concrete examples from life.

The students gained knowledge about possible threats and defense vulnerabilities necessary for choosing the most cost-effective security tools.
