Guest lecture on “Peculiarities of accounting and analysis of environmental costs in the Republics of Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan”

As part of the cooperation of the Accounting and Auditing Department of Turan University with the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after B. N. Yeltsin, on March 19, 2024, a guest lecture was held online for undergraduates and 3rd year students on the topic “Accounting and analysis of environmental costs: theoretical foundations”. The lecturer was the head of the Department of Accounting, Analysis and Audit, Doctor of Economics, Professor Nuralieva Cholpon Askarovna.

The lecturer revealed in detail the methodology for determining obligations for environmental damage, as this issue is of practical importance today. The topic of the guest lecture aroused professional interest, and undergraduates actively discussed some aspects of accounting and analysis of environmental costs. The audience was once again convinced that the analysis of environmental costs makes it possible to assess the current position of the company, take into account risks and favorable factors, as well as make an adequate forecast for the future.
