April 18 – International Day for the Preservation of Monuments and historic sites

The State Historical and Cultural Reserve-Museum «Issyk» has been celebrating this holiday since 2011. Even then, the target audience was representatives of the tourism industry and museum employees. Traditionally, the program includes a presentation of a new exhibition, lectures by experts, tree planting, and celebration of Nauryz. In 2011, we listened to a lecture by the world-famous Kazakh restoration artist, founder and head of the «Ostrov Krym» Scientific Restoration Laboratory, Crimea Altynbekov. In 2024, the head of the Department of Tourism and Service at Turan University, Ph.D., gave a guest lecture on museum exhibitions. Fayzullina G.Sh.
