Guest lecture “Offensive security” for students of the Information systems Educational institution and “Intelligent robotics”

On April 22 at 15:10 in room 708, a guest lecture was held for students of educational programs 6B06101 “Information Systems” and 6B06103 “Intelligent Robotics” on the topic of “Offensive Security.”

Master of Technical Sciences, senior security testing engineer of the European company EPAM, Oleg Ivakhnov, spoke to the students.

Ivakhnov Oleg is a specialist with extensive experience in the field of security of computer systems and networks who has successfully implemented more than 100 projects in the field of pentesting. At the lecture, he shared his experience in the field of computer security, talked about the profession of a pentester, examined interesting vulnerabilities in information systems, and discussed the pros and cons of this area. Oleg Ivakhnov also spoke about what skills are needed to find the first job and shared links to communities, forums, and conferences on information security.
