Students of the educational program “Information systems” at the XV International olympiad IT-Planet 2024

Students of the educational program “Information Systems” took part in the XV International Olympiad in the field of information technology “IT-Planet 2024″.

International Olympiad in the field of information technology “IT-Planet 2024” is a practice-oriented competition aimed at identifying and supporting talented students and ICT professionals.

It is held from January 1 to May 31 and covers various areas of ICT, such as: “Mobile application development”, “Application programming if…else”, “Game Development – GameDev”, “Web design”, “Robbofactory – D.I.Y. Robot”, “3D modeling + AI”, “Postgres Pro DBMS”, “Information Security”, “Modern network technologies”, etc.

Students of the Department of Information Technology Alimbekova Ayaulym, Gavrilova Anastasia, Zeynegabylov Asanali, Shlepnev Bogdan, Muhammad Ahmad, Persiyanov Ivan took part in the contests “Mobile application Development” and “Postgres Pro DBMS” and received certificates of participants.

And although this time they did not make it to the finals, they gained practical experience in developing mobile applications and compiling SQL queries.

Turan’s representative at the Olympiad was Ph.D., associate professor of the Department of Information Technology Kim Yekaterina Romanovna.
