The Department of Psychology, in collaboration with the Eurasian Association of Cognitive Behavioral Psychotherapy, conducts an international practical seminar “CBT of Depressive Disorders”

On May 18 and 19, an international practical seminar on the topic “CBT of depressive disorders” will be held.

At the seminar, the presenters will talk about the diagnosis of depressive disorders, A. Beck scales, psychotherapy of depression and its main emphasis.

• Sergey Sklyar – Ph.D., moderator of suicide prevention programs among children and adolescents in cooperation with the United Nations Population Fund in the Republic of Kazakhstan, senior lecturer at the Department of General and Ethnic Psychology of al-Farabi KazNU, director of the Center for Psychotherapy Sergey Sklyar https://sklyar.kz/ , vice president of the Eurasian Cognitive Association behavioral psychotherapy;
• Valentina Zhumadilova – psychologist, co-founder of the Center for Psychotherapy Sergey Sklyar, CBT therapist.
