The Higher School of Law of Turan University together with the Department of Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure and Criminalistics of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University held an interuniversity methodological seminar on the topic: “Roadmap for improving the quality of legal training in higher and (or) postgraduate education organizations” in the context of sustainable development, consistent with Goal 17 of the UN SDGs. The purpose of the event was to discuss topical issues and ways to improve the system of training lawyers in the face of modern challenges. The seminar was attended by leading experts, practicing lawyers interested in raising the standards of legal education. The main attention was paid to the development of recommendations for educational institutions aimed at improving the quality of curricula, adapting to the requirements of the labor market and developing the necessary professional skills for future specialists. The seminar participants discussed the importance of integrating practical aspects into training programs, as well as the need for close cooperation between educational institutions and employers.
