Guest lecture “Employment in the IT through the Eyes of a Frontend Developer” for students of the Information Systems educational program and “Intelligent Robotics”

On October 24, in the auditoria 606 a guest lecture was held for 3rd year students of the “Information Systems” and “Intelligent Robotics” on the topic “Employment in IT through the eyes of a frontend developer”.

A Senior/Lead Frontend Software Engineer at HalykMarket Lik Eduard  spoke to the students.

During the lecture, Eduard discussed the employment process in the IT field, the stages of career growth, resume writing, and the skills and knowledge needed to be a sought-after specialist in the IT market. He also covered Kazakh tax legislation regarding the registration of sole proprietors and tax payments for freelancers.

After the lecture, students asked questions about the necessary technology stack for employment and the positions they could apply for within an IT team.

The organizer of the lecture is Yekaterina Romanovna Kim, Ph.D., associate professor at the Higher school of information technology of Turan University.
