Within the framework of”Alem Zhane ulttyk Economics of Apta”, the Higher School of Economics and Management of Turan University together with the Institute of World Economy and International Relations invites interested schoolchildren and college students to take part in the city competition of business projects “IDEAS THAT CHANGE THE WORLD”.
The main goal of thecompetition is to increase the innovative potential of Kazakhstan’s youth and promote the formation of an economic way of thinking and entrepreneurial initiative among young people.
The contest aims to:
- Creating a competition format for innovative business plans with elements of teaching the basics of innovative entrepreneurship using real-world examples.
- Promoting constructive interaction between participants
- Competition with experts in the field of economics and entrepreneurship.
- Help school leavers choose their future specialty.
- Identification and support of talented young people in the field of socially significant and research activities.
- Encouraging young people to participate in business design in priority areas for the economy of Kazakhstan.
- Search for entrepreneurial ideas that are promising for the socio-economic development of the city, republic.

The competition is held in two stages:
Stage 1 from February 10-1-13 (online)
Stage 2-On February 21, the competition will be held at Turan University.

Contest conditions:
- Students of grades 9-11 of public schools and college students are allowed to participate in the Competition.
- The team consists of 2-3 people under the guidance of a teacher-project manager (the presence of the head or accompanying representative of the educational organization during the competition is mandatory).
- Contest participants make out their projects in the form of presentations.
- Each project is publicly defended in 10 minutes.
- The project manager does not participate in project protection.
- To participate in the Competition, the participant must prepare and submit projects in the form of a presentation that meet the following requirements.
- The project passport must contain:

- Full name of the contest participants, project manager;
- the name of the competition project;
- the project goal;
- project objectives;
- a brief description of the project;
- information about the novelty of the project and(or) the product implemented as a result of the project implementation.
- information about the participation of the bidder in other contests, about the presence of potential investors in the project.
- The main part of the presentation (content):

- a project implementation plan with an indication of the methods and/or tools of project implementation;
- market assessment;
- the financial plan of the project with an indication of the required amount of investment for the implementation of the project and the directions of spending funds (financial plan), the payback period of the project – is mandatory for college students;
- planned results (demonstrate what benefits can be obtained from its implementation);
- conclusion, summary.
- For social projects, in addition to your CV, you must submit:

- the problem (it is best to present it in the form of a story, during which associations and visual images arise);
- the target audience (who the project is aimed at, who will benefit from it, and who needs it).
- the solution and technology (there should be a short and clear plan, algorithm, you need to justify why your solution is better than similar ones, demonstrate how the project will work);
- planned results (demonstrate what benefits can be obtained from its implementation);
- conclusion, summary (say the most important things that should remain in the memory of the participants).
