Competition “AI smart solutions” for students of the educational institution “Information systems” and “Intelligent robotics”

From October 21 to November 03, 2024, within the framework of the Artificial Intelligence Systems discipline, the AI Smart Solutions competition was held for 3rd year students of the Information Systems and Intelligent Robotics courses.

The competition was held on the Russian platform of innovative competitions, hackathons and accelerators.

AI Smart Solutions is an IT project competition where participants create innovative projects using artificial intelligence technologies to solve problems in various fields. The “AI Smart Solutions” competition consists of 2 qualifying stages and a final. As part of the competition, students had to take a test on the basics of artificial intelligence and develop IT projects with elements of artificial intelligence in the team. 58 students participated in the competition.

Based on the results of the final of the competition, the places were distributed as follows:

• 1st place – the Speakera team: Ashyralieva T.B., Moskvitin M.D., Kulaeva K.I., the project “SpeakEra voice assistant”, gr. IS-242(2), Turan University. The head is cand.tech.sc., associate professor Kim Ye.R.
• 2nd place – “404 Brain Not Found team: Idrisova R.A., Savgira A.E., Shmarin T.K., Akgyun A., the project “Chatbot for processing student requests TuranUniBot”, gr. IS-242(2), Turan University. The head is cand.tech.sc., associate professor Kim Ye.R.
• 3rd place – VoiceAiProject team: Uzakbaev A.E., Budyko T.V.,the project “AI for Emotion Recognition – chatbot for recognizing emotions in audio and text data”, gr. IS-232(3), Turan University. The head is cand.tech.sc., associate professor Kim Ye.R.

The organizer of the competition is Yekaterina Romanovna Kim, cand.tech.sc., associate professor at the Higher school of information technology of Turan University.
