International student scientific and practical conference dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great patriotic war “Kazakhstan and Kazakhstanis in the Great Patriotic War”

The purpose of the conference is to develop knowledge about the Great patriotic war among students, master’s degree students, doctoral students and to perpetuate the memory of the feat of the peoples.

To teach the younger generation to love and protect the Motherland. To educate young people as responsible citizens who respect their country and land, to teach them to bow before heroic deeds, to be brave and courageous, to bow before the spirit of their ancestors, to believe in victory.

It is planned to consider issues in the following areas:

• The Soviet Union and Kazakhstan on the eve of the War: pre-war situation.
• General military mobilization and formation of military units on the territory of Kazakhstan.
• National military units of Kazakhstan: history of formation and combat path.
• Kazakhstan during the Great patriotic war: problems of the Republic’s social and economic development.
• Evacuation: reception and accommodation of evacuated enterprises and educational institutions.
• Kazakhstan as the front’s arsenal: military defense industry facilities on the territory of Kazakhstan.
• Assistance of the people of Kazakhstan to the front during the war.
• Feat of Kazakhstanis on the fronts during the Great patriotic war of 1941-1945.
• Kazakhstanis in Partisan Detachments and the Resistance Movement.
• The fate of Kazakhstani prisoners of war and the problem of rehabilitation.
• Kazakhs in the labor army.
• The contribution of Kazakhstani women to the victory.

The working languages ​​of the round table are Kazakh, Russian and English.
