What Adel Berikkajinova tells about the internship in Turkey:
From May 24 to October 15, 2024, I completed a summer internship at the Selectum for Two Side Hotel in Turkey as a waiter. It was an unforgettable five months filled with vivid impressions, a new job and an introduction to a different culture.
I worked the morning shift from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., but sometimes I stayed for extra hours in the evening shift. We came to the restaurant at 7:50 a.m. and our chefs held small meetings for us, where they divided us into certain areas where we worked all day.
Besides work, I used my free time to travel around Turkey. I visited many cities of Antalya, namely Belek, Side, Manavgat, Alanya, Kaleci Antalya; visited the well-known The Land Of Legens Park, explored the sights and enjoyed the local cuisine.
The internship in Turkey has become a valuable experience for me. I gained practical skills in the service sector, improved my language skills, got to know a different culture, made new friends and unforgettable memories.
