Meeting with a representative of the UN Department of Global Communications

On May 6, 2025, a master class organized by the representative of the UN Department of Global Communications Vlastimil Samek was held at the UN office in Almaty.

The event was attended by 2nd-year students of the educational program “International Relations” of the “Turan” University.

During the master class, Vlastimil Samek shared practical aspects of the UN’s work in the field of global communications, spoke about the role of international organizations in ensuring sustainable development, as well as the tasks and challenges facing the system of international relations in the 21st century.

There was also a lively discussion in which students asked questions about the influence of media policy on the international agenda, information security in the context of globalization and how young people can participate in UN initiatives.

The discussion allowed students not only to gain valuable knowledge, but also to demonstrate analytical thinking and demonstrate interest in current issues of world diplomacy.
