Results of the Second Round of the Republican Student Research Competition under the Educational Program “Public and Local Administration”

Turan University, as the designated host institution, conducted the second round of the Republican Student Research Competition for higher education institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan within the framework of the educational program “State and Local Administration.”

A total of 21 student research papers were submitted to the competition from the following higher education institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan:
Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (5 papers), Narxoz University (2), Esil University (1), L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University (1), Almaty University of Humanities and Economics (1), Turan University (1), Almaty Technological University (2), Kazakh University of Technology and Business named after K. Kulazhanov (1), Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University (1), Turan-Astana University (1), West Kazakhstan Innovative and Technological University (1), Abay Myrzakhmetov Kokshetau University (1), Sh. Yesenov Caspian University of Technologies and Engineering (3), Makhambet Utemisov West Kazakhstan University (1), and Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University (1).

 

 

The students’ research works were evaluated on a scale of 0 to 100 according to the following criteria:

 

Relevance of the research topic

  • Alignment of the topic with current issues and challenges in public and local administration.

 

Research objectives and tasks

  • Clarity of formulation, logical coherence of objectives, and consistency with the overall research aim.

 

Scientific novelty and originality of the approach

  • Presence of new ideas, proposals, and the author’s own perspective on the problem.

 

Analytical component and depth of analysis

  • Quality of the analysis of practical materials, effective use of data, and the ability to draw substantiated conclusions.

 

Structure and formatting of the work

  • Compliance with academic research standards, language accuracy, logical structure of the text, proper referencing, and bibliography formatting, as well as objectivity and evidence-based argumentation.

 

 

Based on the results of the competition, the commission recommended the following participants for award placements:
