May the Turan Bala Bilge Academy bring prosperity to the entire Turkic world!

In accordance with the decision adopted at the founding meeting of the Turan Academy established under Turan University on October 8, 2025, and at the initiative of Mr. Shamil Sadygov, Head of the Hedef Group lyceums in Azerbaijan, the “Turan Bala Bilge Academy” was established in Baku. Participation from 9 countries was ensured.

The Rector of Turan University and President of the Turan Academy, Prof. Rakhman Alshanov, as well as the Vice-Rector for External Relations and Doctoral Studies and Vice-President of the Turan Academy, Prof. Gulzhanat Tayauova, were appointed honorary members of the “Turan Bala Bilge Academy.”

Prof. Rakhman Alshanov was awarded the first “Turan Bilgesi” distinction — a special award made from the natural rock salt of Nakhchivan, engraved with Orkhon–Yenisei script.

The establishment of the “Turan Bala Bilge Academy” is of great importance for the study and promotion of shared Turkic culture, history, language, and scientific traditions; for organizing activities aimed at the development of science, education, and innovation in Turkic-speaking countries and communities; and for contributing to cooperation and academic-cultural ties among schoolchildren of Turkic nations.

The Academy aims to develop a model of Turkic youth based on national identity and wisdom, enriched with technological and spiritual values, and capable of shaping the future through their thinking. These young people must know their history, be able to build their future, and possess the capacity to integrate into global science.
