International exams
Turan University is the only university in Kazakhstan, on the basis of which 3 international exams are organized and conducted at once, recognized and in demand around the world: IELTS, TOEFL, SAT.
Since May 2021, the university has been an official “Authorized British Council Registration Center for the IELTS exam. Also, since 2019, the university has been providing services for conducting international TOEFL iBT and SAT exams.

SAT (English Scholastic Aptitude Test) — is a comprehensive test of English and mathematics knowledge used for admission to foreign universities, mainly American ones. The first section of this test involves testing Reading and Writing skills. In turn, the second section consists of questions concerning the school mathematics curriculum.

TOEFL (English Test of English as a Foreign Language) is a standardized English language test confirming the level of knowledge of students from non-English-speaking countries. In addition, TOEFL is used in recruiting for international companies. The test, as well as IELTS, can be taken offline and online.
In August 2021, a special session of the TOEFL itp exam was organized and held for 67 applicants to the doctoral program of the University of Turan.

IELTS (English: International English Language Testing System) is an international system for assessing the knowledge of English among people for whom it is not their native language. More than 9,000 organizations around the world accept IELTS as a convincing confirmation of the level of English. IELTS is available in two formats: paper-based (offline) and computed-delivered (online).
The representative office of the British Council in Kazakhstan conducts teacher training in preparation for teaching IELTS. In November 2021, the University was allocated 6 free places with the issuance of an official certificate.
