Seminar for students “Opportunities of participation in European mobility programs” from Yoan Dimitrov, International Coordinator of the University of Economics, Varna, Bulgaria

On March 30, 2022, a seminar was held at the White Hall for students of the Turan University on the topic “Opportunities of participation in European mobility programs”, the speaker of the seminar Yoan Dimitrov, coordinator of the international department of the University of Economics, Varna, Bulgaria.

Dimitrov visited the University of Turan as part of the Erasmus + staff mobility, in order to study the experience and form new areas of cooperation.

University of Economics – Varna, Bulgaria is one of the strategically important partners of the Turan University. The university has 4 faculties: Finance and Accounting, Economics, Informatics, Management, Interfaculty Department of Language and College of Tourism. Education is provided in three languages: Bulgarian, English and Russian.

Dimitrov made an introductory presentation about the Varna University of Economics, shared his experience of working on the Erasmus + program, forms of support for foreign students studying in Bulgaria. In addition, he informed about the exciting student life of the University of Economics – Varna.

A fourth-year student Rumilyam Davutova, who studied at the University of Economics – Varna in the fall semester 2021-2022, presented to students information about university and shared her impressions during studies.

We are sure that this meeting gave students motivation to participate in international exchange programs!
