Congratulations to the winners of the English Olympiad!

On March 29, 2022, students of the Department of Journalism and Translation Studies took part in the International English Olympiad  dedicated to trade and commerce, organized by the faculty of Public  and Municipal Administration, the Department of Linguistics and Intercultural Communication of the Volgograd Institute of Management – a branch of the RANEPA (Russia).

The Olympiad was attended by students and schoolchildren from several Russian universities (RANEPA, Moscow Academy of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, Kazan State Energy University, Volga Polytechnic Institute), as well as students from Kazakhstan – Turan University (Almaty, Kazakhstan), NAO Taraz M.Kh. Dulaty Regional University).

The organizers of the Olympiad express their gratitude to the director of the international department Gulmira Kuttybayeva for cooperation, the head of the department “Journalism and translation Studies ” Anna Buzelo , as well as the teaching staff of the department – Ph.D., associate professor Gulzhan Mussabekova, teachers Patashkova Y.,  Myrzakhmet M. for preparing students and schoolchildren to participate in Olympics.

Among the students of foreign universities,

• the 1st place was taken by Mikhailova Polina (Kazakhstan, University of Turan) (tutor Gulzhan Mussabekova G.)
• 2 nd place – Aidana Kanatova, Victoria Kuplinova (tutor Patashkova Y.),   Buzelo Darya (tutor Golovchun A.A.)
• 3rd place – Ilyasova Malika, Abdykhalieva Kamilla, Kochergina Anzhelika(tutor Gulzhan Mussabekova G.)
