On April 25, 2022, a meeting of the Competition Commission of the Turan University was held to select applicants for studying abroad in the autumn semester of the 2022-2023 academic year, as part of the academic mobility of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan. All selection procedures were organized in accordance with the Rules for sending students to study abroad, including within the framework of academic mobility, by order of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated November 19, 2008 No. 613.
The Turan University was allocated 10 grants of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan: 7 – to European universities, 2 – to the United States of America, 1 – to Southeast Asia (having a cooperation agreement with the Turan University). Financing covers the flight, visa fee, insurance and accomodation within the established norms of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan and with subsequent reporting.
21 applications were submitted for the competition from 1st, 2nd and 3rd year undergraduate students. During the competition documents of students were considered, knowledge of English was checked. In addition, students made a brief presentation and answered questions from the competition committee.
