The trip of students of the department “Tourism and Service” to the reserve-museum “Tanbaly”

October 25 is a memorable date in the history of independent Kazakhstan. This day we celebrate the Day of the Republic. Since this year this holiday is renewed as a state holiday. Students of the department of “Tourism and Service” symbolically celebrated this date by a trip to the Reserve-Museum “Tanbaly”, which connects several historical eras of our homeland. Here are concentrated monuments of rock art, burials and remains of settlements of the Bronze Age, Early Iron Age and Middle Ages. During the trip, students saw the objects of the archaeological complex, which is now included in the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites. They also visited the new visitor’s center and its exhibition hall. The study of significant historical and cultural monuments – this is part of the educational process of the specialists of the educational program “Tourism” in the course of the discipline “Excursion” at the University “Turan” (teachers – Velichko A.V., Serik M.A.).
