Guest lecture of the department “Jurisprudence and International Law” on the topic “About the career of a lawyer”

On November 23, 2022, Turan University hosted a meeting of students of the EP “Jurisprudence” and “International Law” with Almaz Tleupov – Chief Legal Counsel of ACQUIS Law Firm, who studied at the Master’s program at the University of Edinburgh (UK) under the program “Bolashak”, on the topic “About career as a lawyer. At the meeting, the issues of forming the necessary competencies for graduates for employment in their specialty, passing an interview and the possibility of further education on educational grants were discussed. The students were interested in what disciplines were studied in the Master’s program “Banking Law” and the experience of participating in dispute resolution at the Astana International Financial Center, they were asked questions about career growth in the law firm ACQUIS, one of the leading law firms in the field of energy according to Legal500 EMEA 2021.
