Head of the Department «Tourism and Service» Galiya Faizullina – Speaker of the International Winter School of Ethnologists

The Department of Archeology, Ethnology and Museology of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University in January 2023 organized a Winter School with the participation of speakers from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Russia for students, undergraduates and doctoral students studying in the areas of «Ethnology and Anthropology» and «Archeology and Ethnology». Among the speakers was Galiya Shauketovna Fayzullina, Ph.D., Head of the Department of Tourism and Service at Turan University. She presented a lecture on the topic «Museification of intangible cultural heritage: research, experience, presentations», in which she highlighted topical issues of the presentation of ethnographic material in museums, focused on possible forms of interaction with tourists.
