“Diplomat Lecture Series” organized by the department “Regional Studies and International Relations”

On March 31, 2023, a public lecture was held at Turan University by the famous diplomat of Kazakhstan, coordinator for cultural cooperation of the National Commission for UNESCO of the Republic of Kazakhstan MUZAFAROV RUSTAM RAKHIMOVICH. The lecture was the third regular meeting with employees of the MFA of the RK, diplomats of the country, organized by the student club “Diplomat” of the department “Regional studies and International relations”.

Within the framework of the topic: “30 years of cooperation between Kazakhstan and UNESCO – successes and challenges”, the main directions and results of cooperation between Kazakhstan and UNESCO were discussed. Rustam Rakhimovich confirmed that students of the educational program “International Relations”, “Regional Studies” should not only study the activities of international organizations such as UNESCO, the UN, but also try to promote the ideas of peace, cooperation and security in international relations.

The meeting participants agreed to join forces, maintain scientific communication to increase the educational level, improve the practical skills of Turan University students.
