International Programming Olympiad Proggy-Buggy Towel Contest

On May 25, 2023, the international programming Olympiad Proggy-Buggy Towel Contest was held at Turan University.

 

Proggy-Buggy Contest is an international olympiad for programmers, which is attended annually by representatives of more than 34 countries.

 

The Olympiad was attended by schoolchildren, students, developers, testers and people who have an idea how programs are written. During the Olympiad, simple fun tasks were given out in English. The participants had only 42 minutes to solve 13 tasks. This year 1727 participants from 60 countries of the world took part in the international programming contest Proggy-Buggy Towel Contest.

 

In this competition, two boys from Kazakhstan became winners – students of the school.

 

  • 1st place – Ayanbek Serikov (Astana, Kazakhstan);
  • 3rd place – Oleg Merezhko (Almaty, Kazakhstan)
