The 2nd stream of documents acceptance for scientific internships under the program “500 scientists” starts

From August 28 to October 13, 2023, the 2nd stream of documents is being accepted under the “Scientific internships” program as part of the “500 scientists” project.

 

Competitive selection for the award of a grant takes place in 3 rounds: comprehensive testing, personal interview with members of the expert commission and consideration of documents at a meeting of the Republican commission for training personnel abroad.

 

To apply for a free internship at Bolashak, you must have a total work experience of at least three years, including the last 12 months in the chosen specialty. In addition, it is obligatory to have an invitation from a host foreign organization included in the list of recommended ones, as well as to have scientific results, for example, articles indexed in Kazakhstani and international scientific publications and databases, certificates of passing an exam in the state language with a result of at least B1, in a foreign language with an IELTS score of at least 5.0.

 

The list of priority areas of scientific research for scientific internships includes 134 specialties, including research in the field of engineering, natural, social and human sciences, as well as in the fields of information and communication technologies, medicine, art, education, agro-industrial complex, national security and defense.

Let us recall, that earlier three employees of the University “Turan” passed the competitive selection for an international internship within the framework of the project “500 scientists” – Tayauova G.Zh., Turgunbayeva A.M. and Serik M. They are heading to US universities in August this year for an internship in the areas of “Management in Education” and “Tourism and Service”.
