Kalenova S.A., Doctor of Economics, Professor of the Department «Tourism and Service» at the International Tourism Forum on Healthcare «International Healthcare Travel Forum»

Kalenova S.A., Doctor of Economics, Professor of the Department of Tourism and Service at Turan University was invited to the International Healthcare Travel Forum, organized by the Association of Medical Tourism of Moldova in cooperation with the Global Council for Medical Tourism and the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Moldova. The Forum was held on September 15-16, 2023. The study of the Moldovan experience of medical tourism has shown that Kazakhstan, having a high potential in the provision of medical services, has all the opportunities to develop domestic medical tourism at a rapid pace. The attractiveness of Moldova as a medical tourism destination lies in the combination of affordable prices, high-quality medical services and a well-developed tourist infrastructure.
