On October 06, Elina Altynbekova, researcher, restorer, employee of the Scientific and Restoration Laboratory “Island of Crimea” was a guest of the students of the Department of “Tourism and Service” of the educational program “Tourism”. The meeting took place within the framework of the discipline “Local history and museology” (lecturer Fayzullina G.Sh.).
The students learned about the difficulties of the work of archaeologists and restorers, got acquainted with the process of conservation and restoration of carvings on raw clay from the citadel of the medieval settlement of Kulan. Also, the audience was presented the experience of the laboratory “Island of Crimea” on the preservation of ancient artifacts of our country.
