Dedication-2023: meeting of first-year students of Turan University in the style of modern “Ethno-Modern”

On October 19, a major autumn event “Dedication – 2023” was held in the banquet hall of Kazakhstan Grand Ballroom.

The event began with the screening of the finalists of the contest “Mr. and Miss Turan-2022”.  The contestants demonstrated ethnic costumes in a modern design, which aroused the admiration of the participants.

In the official part of the event, a welcoming speech was made by Alshanov Rahman Alshanovich – Rector of the University “Turan”, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, holder of the orders “Parasat”, “Barys III” degree, President of the Association of Universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan, President of the Academy of Economic Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, member of the Board of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Rector wished the students a bright and successful path at the university.

Special attention was paid to awarding honored students. “The best student – 2023”, “Activist of the Year – 2023”, “Activist of the Year (dinner with the rector) – 2023” and “Breakthrough of the Year – 2023”. These titles were awarded to students for their achievements and contribution to the development of the student community.

After the award ceremony, the unofficial part of the dedication began with a speech by the creative organizations of the university “Turan”. The headliners of the evening were domestic artists Mdee and Miras Zhugunusov.

At the end of the evening, inspired by new opportunities, students heard wishes from the organizers and invited guests.
