International Conference «ECONOMIES OF EURASIAN COUNTRIES IN THE PERIOD OF GLOBAL TURBULENCE»

On December 13, the International Conference “Economies of Eurasian Countries in the Period of Global Turbulence” was held at the Turan University in Almaty. The purpose of the conference was to search for ideas and strategic approaches to solving problems in the context of global turbulence, with an emphasis on human capital development, import substitution and economic diversification.

Participants in the scientific discussion were scientists and experts from various educational platforms from all over the world: Association of Universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Turan University, Russian Peoples’ Friendship University, Nursultan Nazarbayev Foundation, Shandong Women’s University, Belarusian National Technical University, Faculty of International Relations KazNU. Al-Farabi, Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University, ANO PC «Tomiris» T.D.S., ONC «Rutherford», University of International Business, Kazakh-German University, Academy of Economic Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Almaty Technological University.

At the end of the conference, a round table “Problems and prospects for the formation of human capital in Kazakhstan in conditions of demographic growth” was held. The main moderator was the President of the Association of Universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan R.A. Alshanov. The round table became a platform for a comprehensive study of key factors contributing to economic, social and global development. Famous Kazakh and international experts, business leaders, leading professors from domestic and foreign universities, as well as young researchers took part, opening new ways for making informed strategic decisions.

In general, the event became a platform for the exchange of knowledge, experience and ideas, involving scientists, experts, business structures, government officials in an interesting discussion, calling for careful study, research of key factors that would contribute to economic, social and global development, opening the way for adoption informed and strategic decisions.
