A graduate of Turan University has become the head of the Boxing Federation of the Republic of Kazakhstan

A graduate of Turan University has become the head of the Boxing Federation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In Astana, the annual conference of the Kazakhstan Boxing Federation took place, where a new president, Shahmurat Mutalip, was elected. In his first speech, Shahmurat Mutalip emphasized the importance of collaborative work on the tasks facing the KFB.

“Before the important events of this year, the team has one task ahead. From our side, we will continue the work already started to ensure all necessary conditions for preparation. I am confident that through joint efforts, we can strengthen the positions of Kazakhstan boxing on the global sports arena,” said the new head of the Kazakhstan Boxing Federation.

Shahmurat Mutalip was born on September 18, 1990, in the village of Kaztsik, Almaty region. He is a graduate of Turan University:

  • in 2014, he completed a master’s degree in Economics;
  • in 2012, he completed a bachelor’s degree in Regional Studies;
  • in 2012, he also completed a bachelor’s degree in Economics.

He is also an entrepreneur, the beneficial owner of LLP “Integra Construction KZ”. Married, he is raising three children.

According to the official website of the federation, the Boxing Federation of the Republic was established in 1959 based on the republican section of boxing, founded in 1941. In 1992, the Kazakhstan Boxing Federation became a member of AIBA and joined the Asian Boxing Confederation.
