The winners of the Sirius Cup VII school league tournament have been determined

On April 6-7, 2024, a traditional republican tournament with the Sirius Cup VII school league was held at Turan University, organized by the Sirius intellectual debate club.

At the beginning of April, the next Sirius CUP VII tournament for schoolchildren was held at the Turan University territory at the highest level. The participants of the competition did their best and showed an interesting fight for the main prize – the “Rector’s Grant” for 4 years on behalf of the rector of Turan University Rahman Alshanovich Alshanov.

68 factions, 136 participants from 6 regions of Kazakhstan took part in the tournament. During the debate competition, students reflected on topics of global importance, exchanged opinions, and also held discussions on topical topics.

Following the results of the two-day tournament, Diana Taitanova out of 136 participants became the best speaker and the winner of a grant for 2 years of study at Turan University. The best speaker was Azimkhan Bekarys and the owner of a 50% discount for the first year of study at Turan University.

Turgangali Ramadan was awarded in the nomination “The best judge” and received a cash prize of 30,000 tenge.

In the nomination “The best guide”, Myrzagali Daniyar was awarded and received a cash prize of 30,000 tenge.

Tolepbek Arailym and Sapabek Altynai from the Improvisation faction took the third place in the standings after receiving a rector’s grant for 1 year of study at Turan University.

Due to the breadth of horizons and the desire for knowledge, the runners-up Koishieva Arailym and Tabynbayeva Nurdana received the opportunity for 2 years of free study at Turan University.

The honorary first place and the rector’s grant for 4 years at Turan University were awarded to schoolchildren from the “Turan Usin” faction Seidikhan Dana and Okan Asyl.
