Internship of PhD students at Gdansk University, Poland

From April 1 to May 1, 2024, 2nd-year doctoral students of «Jurisprudence» educational program Nusipzhanov Nurlybek Sultan, Zhaksylykbayeva Asem, Rahmetova Tursynkul, «Economics» – Abdramanova Ulzhan and «Finance» – Tursynkulova Zamzagul completed a scientific internship at the University of Gdansk (Gdansk, Poland).

 

The University of Gdansk – Uniwersytet Gdansk – was founded on March 20, 1970, with a teaching staff of 1,664 academic staff. Gdansk State University is the largest higher education institution in northern Poland.

 

The University of Gdański is ranked among the top 10 best universities in Poland in such fields as physics, biotechnology, psychology, pedagogy, business, law and administration. It is included in the QS World University Rankings at 801-1000 position.

 

The internship was supervised by PhD, Dr. hab. Prof. Edvardas Juchnevicius, who is also the coordinator of international programs of the university.

 

During the scientific internship, doctoral students were acquainted with the material base of the University, the library and educational centers of the departments, and took part in scientific events of the University. Under the guidance of scientific consultants, the doctoral students worked on the research, discussed hypotheses and scientific approaches. They also carried out the work on the preparation of articles for publication in international peer-reviewed journals. According to the results of the internship, doctoral students received certificates.
