On November 9, a trip of students of Gymnasium No. 118, students and teachers of the Higher School of Tourism and Hospitality to the Kolsai Lakes State National Natural Park took place as part of the study of the disciplines of Tourist-excursion and sports training, “Local history and museology”, “Guided tours”, “Fundamentals of the tourism and hospitality industry”.
For schoolchildren and students, a trip to the Kolsai Lakes has become not only an educational, but also an emotionally intense experience. The tourists visited the famous Kolsai Lake, the picturesque Kaindy Lake, and also visited the Black and Moon Canyon. Being surrounded by unique nature, they were able to understand what mountain ecosystems are and how important it is to protect nature for future generations. They gained knowledge about how ecological tours are organized in such unique places, how important the role of local guides is, as well as how to create comfortable and safe conditions for tourists. The teachers focused on how important it is for future specialists to develop ecological and sustainable tourism, which will help preserve the natural heritage of the region.
The teachers of the Higher School of Tourism and Hospitality Koichubaeva D.S., Burkitbai A.Z. have gained experience that they will broadcast to the future generation of students. The head is M.A. Musaev.
