The round table was titled “On the Development of Forensic Examination of Intellectual Property Objects in the Republic of Kazakhstan.” The moderators were the Director of the Higher School of Law, K.A. Dzhumabayeva, and Professor of the Higher School of Law, G.T. Alayeva.
The participants of the round table included employees of the Center for Forensic Examination of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a branch of the National Institute of Intellectual Property in Almaty, members of the Republican Chamber of Judicial Experts of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Chamber of Patent Attorneys of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Union of Patent Attorneys of the Republic of Kazakhstan, members of the city Bar Association, legal consultants, first heads of business structures, and professors from higher educational institutions of Kazakhstan.
The participants of the round table noted the state significance of the issue raised for discussion. They discussed the relevance of developing methodological support for a new type of forensic examination of intellectual property objects, the importance of training in universities of Kazakhstan in legal support of the protection and defense of intellectual property, and the training of future expert personnel for this type of forensic activity.
